Jessica's Maternity Photoshoot

I received an email from Jessica a few weeks ago. She wanted to have some maternity portraits done with her husband. I just think they are so much fun for some reason...but we had everything scheduled and of course it snowed the day before the shoot. I had an idea on snow day so I called Jessica and asked if they were free to do a mini session in the snow-I had an idea about shooting at this farm and and they were game. We met and the shoot took about 35 minutes. The next day we headed down to the river and finished the scheduled photo shoot. I have to say it was a little chilly, but not as bad as the snow day. Jessica and Dayln did awesome! They didn't complain one time about the cold and they were right with me for every idea I had. It made for a fun day and cool pictures. Thanks guys and I hope the twins come out kicking and screaming...just kidding.

Wedding Day - Sharon & Stephen

Well my first wedding of the year was a good one but also an extremely COLD one! I believe the weather outside was in the low 30's and very Windy. Conditions made taking any photos outside very difficult except for a few shots of the guys, but even they were ready to run back inside after 10 minutes. I love shooting outside, but with the weather we were pretty much stuck inside. That was ok, we still were able to get some very nice traditional photos of the wedding party and bride and groom. We ended up photographing the engagement, bridal and the wedding all in the little town of Farmville with good country people in a good old country church. Thank you Sharon for letting me be a part of your wedding celebration and I hope the best for you and Stephen on your new adventure together. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the wedding and a few of the bridal portraits, you have a ton of pictures to go through Sharon!

Meredith's Bridal Portraits

I've been waiting to post these bridal photos since we finished the shoot in November-and the wedding isn't till March, but we all know that is a no-no. Once Meredith saw the images she said to go ahead and post them. I said "are you sure?" She said to go ahead that she loved them. The thing is, Meredith and Macon were actually married last year. Since he is in the Coast Guard they had a small wedding, but after that they decided to do it the right way and have a nice story book wedding with all their family and friends. So you see why she isn't so worried about Macon checking her out in her dress. Thank you Meredith for climbing up in the tree! You were all about it but your mom had that concerned look on her face. Priceless!!! Click on the images for a larger view.

Kayden Marie Newborn Portraits

Beth contacted me recently to say that she wanted some newborn photos of Kayden Marie. So of course I said "Yes". What a cute baby! Beth wanted hand and foot shots. It always helps when you have a nice sleeping baby, but of course we sorta missed that mark by a few weeks. We still managed to get some very nice shots. We wanted to incorporate a horse saddle for the second session and I was so excited to see her carrying the saddle when she walked through the door. We set up everything and waited for Kayden to fall asleep...good job to the dad and mom because it didn't take long. I have to say the saddle pictures turned out so awesome! Hope you enjoy the photos and can't wait to show them to the world. Click on the images for a larger view.
